A World Record!

In March of 1999, Calico
Cottage, Inc. moved into its newly built world headquarters
located at 210 New Highway in Amityville on Long
Island, New York. The forty-five thousand square foot,
state-of-the-art facility houses a leading edge
manufacturing operation and is home to Calico's premier
customer service and sales teams.
As part of the new
facility dedication celebration, Calico produced a
660 lb. slab of its world-renowned fudge, which
measured eight feet long, four feet wide and four
inches high. It was submitted to the THE GUINNESS
BOOK OF RECORDS and accepted as the largest piece
of fudge ever produced. The fudge was then
distributed to local youth organizations and
neighboring businesses. Amazingly, our record
has since been broken, twice, by our own customers using the same fudge making equipment
and finer quality fudge ingredients in use by all of our retailers.
